The 3D technology The nivia 3D viewfinder uses revolutionary 3D technology. A GPS grid is created in addition to the traditional magnetic field lines. Combined with the patented algorithm, the position of buried victims can be determined very accurately from the very first signal. Just like a navigation system, the route to the buried victim is displayed directly – accurate to the centimetre and not via the diversions of the magnetic field line. No matter which avalanche transceiver is being searched for. This saves valuable time (over 30 % compared to traditional transceivers) and can save lives.
