Prowinter goes Outdoor

Together with Italian Outdoor Group, Prowinter is expanding its vision beyond skiing and looking to the future of winter outdoor sports.

  • In a rapidly evolving and changing market scenario, the operational partnership between Fiera Bolzano, Italian Outdoor Group and MagNet also aimed to involve the entire community of outdoor operators, generating new and valuable opportunities for exhibitors and visitors to meet, compare and do business.
  • Prowinter Outdoor served as an ideal laboratory for a new concept of winter outdoor, based on the contamination of seasons and diverse forms of experience in contact with nature.
  • Building on the strong foundations laid in 2026, Prowinter Outdoor is now taking an increasingly decisive step onto the international stage: for the 2027 edition, new partnerships are being launched with Snow Industries America, Scandinavian Outdoor Group, China Outdoor Association and, most notably, the European Outdoor Group.  
  • The outdoor hall will also feature the Scandinavian Village, created in collaboration with Huginbiz to bring together exhibitors from Northern Europe, as well as the Outdoor Lounge, a networking area for European members of the winter outdoor sector. 

Goals

  1. Enrich Prowinter, traditionally linked to alpine skiing and the rental world, with the outdoor community
  2. Reframing the concept of "winter outdoor" toward a new idea of outdoor activities, partly because of the new climate scenarios and the growing demand for contact with nature
  3. Significantly increase the presence of international operators, particularly from German-speaking countries (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) but not only
