Shaping Winter’s future together

January 13th - 15th 2026 | Bolzano, Italy

The Ski Industry Climate Summit is an international conference designed to foster and enhance collaboration among members of the winter sports industry and related businesses.

From January 13–15, 2026, the third edition will take place in Bolzano, Italy, alongside the Prowinter trade fair.

Hosted by Atomic in collaboration with Protect Our Winters Europe (POW) and The Winter Sports Sustainability Network (WSN)the Summit serves as a common platform for information, knowledge exchange, and collective progress. As climate change continues to challenge our sport, our commitment to transformative action has never been stronger. Brands, resorts, companies, and organizations across the industry are striving to minimize their environmental impact and undertake the essential changes that climate science demands. Atomic and Protect Our Winters believe that, together, we can lead a mass movement to build a sustainable future for winter sports.

Since its launch in 2023, the Ski Industry Climate Summit has developed into a key meeting point for the global winter sports industry. What began as a dialogue between ski brands has now grown into a conference addressing the full spectrum of stakeholders. Brands, resorts, retailers, federations, companies and other stakeholders now have a meaningful platform to break down the silos within the entire winter sports industry. Working in a holistic approach that respects individual missions while realizing our industry’s common goals.

The Summit is built around two complementary elements:

  • The Winter Sports Sustainability Network (WSN) working groups: Technical workshops focusing on supply chain decarbonization, life cycle assessments, material innovation, circularity, and advocacy.
  • Summit Conference: High-level sessions that surface new data, spotlight promising projects, and align the industry around shared goals. From legislation to science, finance to innovation, this conference will set the direction for the years ahead

Together, these formats foster collaboration across companies, disciplines, and regions—ensuring that progress is not only discussed but accelerated.

This year, the Prowinter Show in Bolzano provides the perfect venue: a professional industry fair at the heart of the Alps, bringing together suppliers, brands, and industry representatives.
