Prowinter Award

A constantly evolving award

  • Making room for innovation and quality: the Award recognises the merit of companies presenting the most convincing product, thus giving retailers an additional tool to make their purchasing choices in the best way.
  • The 2027 edition grows: thirteen categories across skis, snowboards and winter outdoor, two expert juries and a new special prize dedicated to safety, the ITAS Safety Award, reserved for helmets.
  • Taking part means putting your flagship products in the spotlight and competing for a tailor-made visibility package.

How the entry works

The winner of each category receives a visibility package including:

  • Inclusion in a dedicated press release distributed to the trade media 
  • Editorial article on the official Prowinter website 
  • Newsletter sent to the qualified contacts of the fair 
  • Posts and stories on the official social media channels 
  • Digital promo kit for the company's own communication of the recognition (logos, badges, claims, ready-to-use graphics) 
  • Inclusion in the Prowinter Award Special in collaboration with MagNet (Outdoor Mag/Snow Business) 
  • Display unit to give value to the winning product at your stand

  

Nominated products are recognised too: from 7 December the companies of the nominated products may use the digital badge "Nominee Prowinter Award 2027" in their communication, under the conditions of use set out in the regulations.

The juries of the Prowinter Award 2027 appointed their presidents at the kick-off meeting on 13 October 2026. The ski and snowboard jury is chaired by Kurt Ladstätter, entrepreneur in high-quality technical sports rental. The outdoor jury is chaired by Massimo Zuin, category manager specialised in technical outdoor.
