Katrin Ahrens is a researcher at the Julius Kühn-Institut (JKI), Institute for Application Techniques in Plant Protection, where she has been working since 2017.
Her work focuses on the collection and evaluation of exposure and spray drift data in orchards and viticulture. Another area of her work is the testing of unmanned aerial spraying systems (UASS) for use in plant protection, particularly in steep-slope vineyards in Germany.
