UYN® is the functional apparel brand launched in 2018 by the Italian company Trerè Innovation. UYN's new underwear, cycling, running and winter sports lines are made using innovative natural and nature-based materials, empowered via biotechnology to achieve superior strength, breathability and drying performance. For its new winter collections, UYN uses kapok, the world's lightest natural fibre, the elastic yarn Flexicorn from corn seeds, the highly breathable fibre Biolight from beech wood, the sweat-removing fibre Ecolypt from the Eucalyptus plant and the bio-fibre Natex from castor beans, which is 25% lighter and 50% faster to dry than conventional polyamide. With its technical underwear, UYN is partner of nine national ski teams (Italy, Austria, France, Slovenia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Spain, China, Great Britain). In the last four seasons the brand has won five Alpine Ski World Cups, 172 races and seven Olympic gold medals. UYN is also official supplier of jackets, trousers and second layers to the Austrian Freeski team.
