Girsberger Elektronik AG was founded in 1966. Since the mid-80ties, it produces avalanche and other mountain rescue equipment that is well known all over the world. Due to strict focusing on the needs of winter sports and close cooperation with the professional mountain rescue organizations, we can identify new technologies very early. When we combine them with our know-how, the results are innovative solutions: - Devices and systems for companion rescue and for professional rescue - Stationary and mobile transceiver search training systems - Devices for avalanche accident prevention Our milestones comprise, among others, multiple generations of transceivers, transceiver search training systems and helicopter based transceiver search systems. All our products are made of high quality and sustainable materials. They are all manufactured in small volume at our family enterprise in Switzerland. We provide an important contribution to preserve the mountains and to improving the safety of winter outdoor activities and mountain rescue. We save countless lives.
