Stefan Rier

Architetto, Interior Designer, NOA founder

For Stefan Rier, architecture means telling stories—understanding the place being designed, tracing its history, capturing its uniqueness, and breathing in its atmosphere. A trained architect and interior designer from Ferrara, after graduating he worked with architect Demetz in South Tyrol and with Matteo Thun in Milan.

In 2011, Stefan co-founded NOA (Network of Architecture) with Lukas Rungger. NOA is an award-winning collective of architects and interior designers that now includes over 30 creatives, with headquarters in Bolzano and additional offices in Berlin, Milan, and Turin. Since then, Stefan has worked on projects in the hospitality, residential, retail, and office sectors, both in terms of architecture and interior design. He has also been involved in product design. Today, he is a member of the Chamber of Architects and Planners of Bolzano.
