South Tyrol, with its capital city of Bolzano, is the most important apple cultivation area in all of Europe and offers the ideal setting for INTERPOMA. The tradeshow about the apple takes place in a two-year cycle and will be put on for the fifth time in 2006. This convention event, which is
unique throughout the world, has in the meantime gone on to become a "must" for insiders in the sector: an ideal forum for getting information about the latest trends, selections, and products, as well as the optimal place to do business. In 2004, 268 top-quality exhibitors from 12 countries used this important sector forum to present themselves to the 8,000 professional visitors from 36 different countries.
