We are constantly striving to make the visitor's experience as positive as possible. Making their journey more comfortable and sustainable is an important part of it.
Sustainable mobility turns into reality with FieraMesse. Starting from Klimahouse 2020, each online ticket will also be valid for public transport to and from the exhibition centre. With a single ticket, visitors will be able to access the trade show and travel free of charge on buses, trains and cable cars, thus contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions as well as the traffic volume. Fiera Bolzano is also well connected from a logistical point of view: from the central railway station in Bolzano, for example, it takes only 7 minutes to get to Bolzano Sud/FieraMesse.
Every year Fiera Bolzano welcomes around 250,000 visitors, mostly from South Tyrol. About one out of four visits our trade shows at least once a year. In order to encourage the use of public transport, a simple solution has been found in collaboration with the Department of Mobility and STA - Strutture Trasporto Alto Adige S.p.A. (South Tyrolean Transport Facilities).
Starting from Klimahouse 2020 all online tickets for each trade show will be marked with an "M" (public mobility) and with the wording "free public transport ticket" and will allow you to travel free of charge, on the day of your visit, on public transport throughout South Tyrol. Excluded from the project are the cable cars of Colle, Verano, Vilpiano-Meltina and Maranza. Holders are obliged, if necessary, to show the ticket in digital or printed form and an ID to the control staff.
