In 2011, Andreas Tuffentsammer became Germany’s youngest Michelin-starred chef. In 2016, he co-founded the fast-casual restaurant chain “Beets&Roots” in Berlin, which now operates over 20 locations in 8 cities. In 2023, he launched the innovation studio “LemonLabs.” As CEO, founder, and advisor to more than 40 renowned food brands, he identified one of the industry’s core challenges: knowledge and training are often exclusive, difficult to access, and rarely practical. In 2025, he founded the platform “Restaurant Hero” to address this — with the goal of making industry know-how more accessible and supporting people in their professional growth, regardless of education, background, or network.
