ALUMINIUM SYSTEM FOR THE CONNECTION OF BUILDINGS TO THE GROUND The ALU START profile for connection to ground is capable of transferring shear, tensile and compressive forces into the foundation. The rise from the foundation and the use of aluminium ensure the support base protection against capillary rising damp. The ALU START profile eliminates the contact between the timber panels and the concrete substructure to ensure protection from capillary rising damp and excellent durability when the building is connected to the ground. The special assembly templates are used for easy adjustment of the supporting surface level. The "levelling" of the entire building is simple, precise and fast. Thanks to the side flange, the profile can be fastened to the timber wall by means of nails or screws which guarantee excellent strength in all load directions, certified by CE marking according to ETA. It is the first ground connection system that eliminates hold-downs and shear angle brackets. The ALU START system, made of aluminium alloy, can be used with CLT walls or timber frame construction system.
