When Alfons Loacker made his first “Bolzano wafer” in 1925, he could never have imagined that it would make history. Fired by his passion for naturalness and wholesomeness, Alfons managed to protect his dream through the war, together with his children Armin and Christine, who were inspired by him and whose own children, Ulrich, Andreas and Martin, joined the company in the 1990s. Today, Loacker’s production facilities are located in Auna di Sotto and Heinfels, at an altitude of 1000 meters with a breathtaking view of Monte Sciliar, and in Heinfels, surrounded by the mountains. It is here that its specialties acquire the flavors and aromas that make them so unique.
