The STAVANGER® XL1000 is the classic for rescue operations, with the stifneck compartment built into the front. The STAVANGER XL1000 - tough and durable on the outside The rescue backpack has ergonomically shaped shoulder straps for high wearing comfort, which is especially important for longer rescue routes. In addition, the XL1000 has an auxiliary handle for shouldering and a 2-piece plastic carrying handle for easy removal from the rescue vehicle. A retaining rubber on the back ensures that the shoulder straps stay in place. Thus they do not disturb if the backpack is carried as a suitcase. The all-round edge protection made of original CORDURA® fabric keeps the backpack in shape. The 4-cm-wide polyester webbing is a circumferential edge protector and is double-stitched to the body of the backpack over all four sides. The loop is secured by cross stitching, rivets and an additional section of webbing, and has been tested for tensile properties. The winch loop, which is integrated into the edge protection, serves as an anchor point for high-altitude rescue and can also be used as a makeshift handle. The 3-sided, 2-way zippers are equipped with a double-flap piping to withstand external influences. The case halves can be opened completely thanks to the zipper system to allow working from the case. The inner values of the emergency backpack The front and the interior are made of high quality tarpaulin material, a polyester carrier fabric with polyvinyl chloride coating on both sides. Characterizing properties are: dirt repellent, tear-resistant, waterproof and resistant to weathering, decomposition and many chemical substances. The smooth surfaces on the inside and outside of the backpack can be easily washed and disinfected. The STAVANGER XL1000 has a self-assembling center panel with various rubber loops and pockets (mesh or transparent) for flexible material storage. The new push-button system for the internal erectable center panel allows easy exchange of optionally available center panels. Thanks to the magnet system, the STAVANGER® XL1000 can be individually equipped with our optionally available modules. The top opening of the container and system modules allows material to be removed directly out of the module. Also suitable is the oxygen holder with additional security via a rotatable plug-in lock for oxygen cylinders from 0.8 to 2 liters.
