The farm La Contea is located near the ancient village of Santa Venera, in the territory of what was once the glorious County of Mascali, between 400 and 650 meters above sea level on the eastern side of Etna, in the province of Catania. It consists of 16 hectares, cultivated mainly with vineyards, arranged in different terraces overlooking the Ionian Sea. Vineyards of Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio for the production of the precious red wines of Etna and Carricante for the fragrant and mineral white wines. The current production is around 30,000 bottles. All the processing of the company's grapes takes place inside the very modern cellar equipped with the most modern oenological equipment.
