Our family company was founded in 1979 by Gabriel and his father Karl. Both had been working for several years in the wine sector before deciding to start their own business. To create a winery from nothing was a great deal of hard work. The first bottles were filled, closed and labelled by hand. In the vineyards both we and our suppliers pay attention to high quality. In the winery itself it is entirely up to us to produce good wine from the precious grapes. From the start our business was very small, so there was actually no alternative other than to let our wines speak for themselves. Only quality and friendly service justify the existence of a small family company! Grapes from the best areas of our region renowned for ist climate are processed in steel tanks, wooden or barrique (oak wood) barrels, depending on their composition and on the experience and intuition of the cellar master, Lukas. A considerable number of factors are decisive in order for the aroma and the full merit of the grapes to finally reach the glass. With our Palladium and Maturum lines we have been able to respond fully to the growing demand of first class wines, an assertion confirmed time and again by wine lovers and connoisseurs.
