Alpitec, the international trade show for mountain and winter technologies is a popular meeting point for alpine winter technology and the cable car business in the Alps and is able to attract the industry's most important players, in order to exhibit their newest products. 
The past edition of Alpitec opened its doors in Bolzano from April 18 to 20, 2012, together with Prowinter, the International Trade Show for Rentals and Services for Winter Sports. Alpitec offers its visitors an international update for current ski area technology, while Prowinter will cover topics ranging from modern rental and service infrastructures through what’s in with sports and winter vacation trends. And once again in the coming year, the Bolzano Exhibition Center will continue with its successful concept: a single admission for two clearly structured tradeshow areas.

The leading reasons for the success of the double tradeshow are doubtlessly the location of the event and the date, immediately after the end of the season. Nestled among one of the leading winter sports regions in all of Europe, the Bolzano Exhibition Center has positioned itself as a tradeshow location for the entire Alpine region, viewing itself as an important contact exchange between companies from the German-speaking world and Italy. Two weeks after Easter the specialized operatores of the winter industry have the possibility to conveniently gather information about the newest products and technologies and transact orders for the up coming winter season.
