Information on flights and visa for China

The flight:
Regarding the flight we reccomend you to turn to a travel agency, or to book your flights directly on the websites of the main airlines. Companies like Continental Ailines, Northwest Airlines, Lufthansa, Air France, provide allmost daily connections to China and Beijing.The flight takes about 13 to 14 hours from New York, and 12 hours from Europe. Please be aware of the time at destination (Beijing), which compared to New York is -12 hours and compared to Europe is +7.

The visa:
To get the visa to enter the People's Republic of China please turn to the Chinese Ambassy of your country or refer to your travel agency. To get the permission, you may need the following documents (mandatory for European applications):

• Legal passport (please be aware that you passport will not expire before 6 months after your journey)
• Booking confirmation of your flight
• Additional passport photograph
• The completed form for the request of the visa, which you get through the ambassy or the travel agency

Please consider that it may take up to 4 weeks to get your Chinese visa.
