South Tyrol: Competence and Quality for Exhibitors and Visitors

South Tyrol, with its capital city of Bolzano, is the most important apple cultivation area in all of Europe. Whit its long-standing tradition in cultivation and production of apples, but also in the development of new technologies for storage, packing and marketing, the northern Italian province represents the cradle of the European apple industry and is therefore the perfect environment for this important display window of the apple market.
In 2010, 354 top-quality exhibitors from 18 countries used this important sector forum to present themselves to more than 14.200 professional visitors from 58 different countries.
The only trade fair in the world which is dedicated to the apple industry, Interpoma focuses mainly on three topics: apple growing, storage and marketing. The exhibition area provides ample space in which to explore innovations and trends of the apple sector as also a rich program of top-level conferences and meetings tackling the most compelling issues concerning the apple, in the presence of the most authoritative international experts.
